We ran our annual Easter Family Fun Day on Friday 14^th April in APEX Park.

This day has become a tradition over the last five years, being held during the Easter school holidays, providing fun for the whole family with outdoor games, craft activities, BBQ fundraiser and more!

A big thank you goes to all of the community volunteers who helped prepare for the day and helped run activities on the day.

Special thanks go to Peter James and Benallack’s who made it possible for us to have a visit form the Easter Bunny!

Thanks also to the fabulous Lakes and Craters band for bringing such festivity and happiness to everyone on the day with your music.

“It was a great day, every one had a wonderful time!” said Elizabeth Casey, one of the volunteers who made the day possible.

Between 80-100 people attended the event across the day, with children of all ages participating in all aspects of the day.

The BBQ Fund Raiser raised $96.65 on the day, along with $36 fundraising from the “Easter Egg Guess” contest. All funds raised on the day will go towards supporting Community House activities for the benefit of our members and the wider community.

The Easter Raffle, which raised $539.70 for Camperdown & District Food Bank was drawn at the end of the day.
