Our committee and new strategic plan

Committee appointed and new strategic plan for 2022

We held our AGM on Wednesday 27th October and now welcome our committee and new strategic plan!

We are thrilled to announce that we have three new members joining the committee for the first time. The committee has five returning members.

Camperdown and District Community House is a community run not for profit association. Our committee of management are members of our community who volunteer their time to support and govern the organisation.

Our Coordiantor’s position is funded by the Victorian Neighbourhood House Coordiantion Program and supported by Neighbourhood Houses Victoria. All other positions are a part of our volunteer program and managed by our Coordinator.

If you were not able to attend our AGM but would like a copy of our 2020-2021 Annual Report, please contact us and we can send you a copy.

2022 Committee of Management

New strategic plan

This ten-year plan was developed following three facilitated online workshops with the committee and Coordiantor in July, August and September 2021.

The plan aligns with the Neighbourhood House Coordiantion Program Guidelines, Victoria’s Health and Wellbeing Plan and Corangamite Shire’s Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan.

It is an exciting and foward looking plan. We have a vision, mission, four objectives and eight strategies. This includes achievable and measurable actions for a two-year Action Plan.

The plan aims to:

Welcome and support our residents

Build community skills and knowledge

Support and promote health and wellbeing.

The plan also aims for:

  • A livable and vibrant Camperdown and District for current and future generations
  • A successful, contemporary centre that serves the community for the long term.

2022 Memberships now due

Following the AGM, annual membership is now due. Thank you to everyone who has renewed their membership or commenced a new membership with us for next year already. This is a great way to support us and helps us to continue to provide our services and programs.

You can renew your membership online or contact us and we can send you a form.

We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to sharing more workshops and activities that help celebrate and stregthen our community!
