23 Mar Food Bank Fire Relief
Our thoughts are with the people whose homes, properties and livelihoods have been devastated by the St Patricks Day fires.
We are proud to be a part of such a resilient local community, and the outpouring of support, donations and assistance has been a strong reminder of how amazing our community really is.
For those of you who are not aware, the Camperdown Community House operates the Camperdown & District Food Bank Emergency Food Relief Service.
At this time we know that there has been an overwhelming amount of support shown through donations of food and goods to affected communities, but if you are in need of food support, our service is available to all those in need, and will be ongoing as normal beyond the initial emergency response period.
If you are in need of emergency food relief, please contact one of our community partners that is most convenient for you: Camperdown & District Food Bank is available through the following agencies/community organisations
- Cobden Uniting Church 5595 1424,
- Camperdown Uniting Church 5593 2323,
- Manifold Place Community Health 5557 0900,
- Simpson Community Centre 5594 3448
- Vinnies Camperdown 5593 1122.
We will continue to work in partnership and in support of the Corangamite Shire, Terang CWA, Cobden Uniting Church and all other community groups and agencies in the relief efforts over coming weeks.
Camperdown Community House is open 9am-4.30pm every Tuesday and Wednesday and from 9am-4pm every Friday, if you would like a friendly place to go and have a chat, we are here with tea and coffee and would love to see you, come by anytime!
